The Canon PowerShot SD1300IS
is a basic point and shoot camera with preset modes to deal with different lighting and shooting conditions. With 12.1 megapixels your image quality will be very high and the 2.7-inch view finder LCD makes it easy to see what you are shooting. There is a memory card slot that will take SD memory cards, however to lower the price of these entry level cameras you will find that the camera is sold with out a memory card. The camera does have an internal memory that will let you save about 5 pictures but it is recommended to get a memory card
if you want to be able to use the camera for any real photography. It is is also a tip to remember that if you are on a holiday and your memory card becomes full then you can just remove it and you will be able to store 5 more pictures on the internal camera memory.
