Camera Review - Canon Powershot SD1300IS

Canon PowerShot SD1300IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Blue)The Canon PowerShot SD1300IS is a basic point and shoot camera with preset modes to deal with different lighting and shooting conditions. With 12.1 megapixels your image quality will be very high and the 2.7-inch view finder LCD makes it easy to see what you are shooting. There is a memory card slot that will take SD memory cards, however to lower the price of these entry level cameras you will find that the camera is sold with out a memory card. The camera does have an internal memory that will let you save about 5 pictures but it is recommended to get a memory card if you want to be able to use the camera for any real photography. It is is also a tip to remember that if you are on a holiday and your memory card becomes full then you can just remove it and you will be able to store 5 more pictures on the internal camera memory. I have done this before and not too many people know about this.

Features
This camera has an ISO range of 400-6400 so it will be very good in low light situations. The manufacturer says that now even scenes notorious for having insufficient light, such as those lit by candles, fire, or street lamp, come through in fantastic color and clarity, with less noise. You can keep the feel of the scene intact without adding additional light, so the result will be scenes with the visual accuracy, depth and clarity you expect from a Canon camera. Full details here
